This wireless trigger provides an efficient and low-cost radio remote system option for cameras to trigger a flash unit synchronously. It allows the user to place the flash at different angles and distances from the object being photographed making it a very useful and flexible tool for portrait and product photography.
The wireless trigger kit consists of a signal transmitter which slides onto the camera's accessory shoe; and a receiver which can be attached to any portable flash unit with a hot-shoe style base or via a PC sync cable. The receiver receives a radio signal which is emitted from the transmitter when the shutter is pressed. This signal allows the receiver to trigger off the external flash unit. Each receiver works with a single flash unit.
